Much has happened since the last posting: the Simple Things have completed their debut album, Michael Gallant and Rachel Rossos recorded a cover of the beautiful song "Breathe," and we have a new page full of goodies for you to listen to. Rumor has it the little buggers might find themselves in the studio in the near future. . . . The Simple Things are slowly but surely completing their debut album. Instrumental tracks are done and partly mixed, and some of the vox are already in place. Stay tuned for more details and the release date.

Michael is working with two new, utterly different but equally cool bands. Introducing: The Simple Things (aka the punk rock of easy listening). The band completed it's first journey into the recording studio and is preparing to finish up overdubs. Keep an eye out for an end of year release. The Trouble With Monkeys Power pop! The new original song, produced almost exclusively with musicians collaborating remotely through eSession.com, is signed, sealed, and delivered. You can hear it on the Listen page and read a four-page, behind-the-scenes making-of story in the August '07 issue of Keyboard. Michael wrote the cover story on Dave Brubeck, too:)
